Happy New Year everybody! I am kicking off with a Happy New Year everybody! I am kicking off with a solo exhibition Remembered / Imagined? at the Galleries at Freshford. The show runs from 12Jan- 15 March. This monotype is called ‘Life Oh Life!’ part of the continuing series of daydreams…. I have around 30 works on the walls, also unframed giclées and cards. I was really happy to be asked to support their project, where the building, and everything that happens inside has been built, funded and run by volunteers from the community. (There is a ‘meet the artist’ event this evening between 5-7 pm 14th of March, do come and say hello!) The Galleries is in Freshford between Bath and Bradford on Avon. There is a lovely café and a shop that sells delicious treats! (Check their website for details) A big thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last year with enthusiastic conversations, appreciation, and sales of work to their new homes. This was the first work to sell at the PV - the most recent, and my favourite on the stand! ‘Life Spirit’ mixed media on cotton rag paper. So many works have found new homes, and I was delighted to see past purchasers who came to say hello 😀 I love you Manchester folk - you’re so friendly! My favourite comment about my work was “it’s like finding something you hadn’t realised was missing, and you needed.” So happy!
