Ilminster Art Centre Open 2026. I was very pleased to have both my submissions accepted, and delighted to discover that I had been awarded joint second prize with @emma_malony. Here’s a cheesy picture of me with the winning work ‘Thicket’ screen monotype. The exhibition continues until July 31st. Lots of beautiful works to see…

So looking forward to running this retreat in North Devon in the beautiful grounds of Westcott Barton, a doomsday listed hamlet deep in the hills of North Devon. Time to play, sketch, paint, explore simple printmaking processes suitable for beginners- monotypes, dry point, tetra pack printing, collagraphs, botanical printing using a portable etching press. Looking forward to this exhibition where I will be showing new painterly monotypes at Wells Museum alongside 3 other artists featuring ceramic sculpture, sculptural printmaking and textiles. There is a ‘Meet the artists’ event on the 27th between 11 and 3 - great for combining with the lively market on Sat and Wed mornings - a lovely day out!
